Biochemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for PhD-level Biochemists to help train and refine cutting-edge AI models on advanced scientific topics. Your deep domain expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex biochemistry — from protein folding to metabolic flux — making a real impact on the future of scientific AI. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Advanced Problems — Craft challenging biochemistry questions across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to stress-test AI performance
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as gold-standard benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning
Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical reasoning for scientific accuracy and adherence to established standards
Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, flawed stereochemistry, or misapplied biological principles, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance
Work Independently — Complete assignments asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life Who You Are Holds a PhD (completed or near completion) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field
Deep foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics
Able to communicate highly technical biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
High attention to detail when reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols
No prior AI experience required — your scientific expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic peer review
Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST
