Biology Expert (AI Training) About The Role What if your years of graduate-level biology training could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex problems in genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics? We're looking for Biology Experts to help build and refine cutting-edge AI models — designing advanced problems, evaluating scientific reasoning, and ensuring AI gets the biology right. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers and scientists who want to contribute to something beyond the lab.

No prior AI experience needed — just deep domain expertise and a sharp scientific mind.

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance

Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design challenging, nuanced problem statements

Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity

Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance model performance

Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous standards of scientific rigor and precision





Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)

Deep expertise in one or more of: genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or bioinformatics

Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data analysis

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you can explain complex science clearly

Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong commitment to scientific accuracy

Fluent in English Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems

Background in AI, machine learning, or computational biology

Experience writing or reviewing scientific literature, grant proposals, or technical documentation
