Located in Artarmon, NSW 2064, S C MEDICAL is currently seeking a Biomedical Engineer to become part of its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Designing, developing, testing, and evaluating biomedical equipment and medical devices to meet clinical and operational requirements.
- Installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing of medical devices.
- Investigating equipment faults, identifying technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensuring all biomedical equipment complies with relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
- Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers to provide technical support and equipment recommendations.
- Assisting with the evaluation, commissioning,



and implementation of new medical technologies and equipment.

About you

- At least one year of relevant experience as a Biomedical Engineer or in a similar role.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, medical devices, and diagnostic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and engineering standards.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate technical records.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
