Salary: Full-Time/Term-Time hourly rate from $36.94 + additional live-in incentives subject to availability / Casual hourly rate starting from $43.51 The Cathedral College, is a Catholic, co-educational, Secondary, Boarding College with Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton.The College aims to deliver a holistic Catholic Education where academic excellence goes hand in hand with spiritual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development. The College is built in the shadow of St Joseph’s Cathedral and welcomes 189 Boarders from across Central Queensland and beyond, enriching the College community. 1330 students are enrolled and all are invited to respond to Jesus Christ’s message to ‘come live life in all its fullness’. Girls' Boarding is located a short distance from the College in Agnes Street and Boys’ Boarding is situated on the College site in Derby Street.

About the role Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to join the staff of The Cathedral College, Rockhampton, in casual, term-time and full-time positions. Our Supervisors provide pastoral and academic support for our boarders in their daily boarding routines and support the operation of the Boarding House to create a secure, comfortable and nurturing environment for young people to thrive. This role provides a rewarding career in the engagement with young people and ability to be part of the formation in a young person's life.

You have the opportunity to bring your own talents into our community of care with a supportive collegial environment as our boarders are cared for in their home away from home. Rostered shifts include day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts (dependent on your employment arrangements)

Duties include but not limited to:

- The holistic care of our boarders encompassing their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being
- Supervision of boarders in their boarding routines
- Accompanying to activities and events
- Accompanying to appointments (when required)
- Transporting boarders using school vehicle to sporting events and outings About you The successful applicant will have:
- An understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- High proficiency of computer skills
- A Willingness to work rostered weekend and night shifts (desirable)
- An "Open" Driver's Licence (QLD) (desirable) What we offer - Market-competitive salary range (Full-time/Term-Time hourly rate from $36.94/ Casual hourly rate starting from$43.51)
