As we expand our operations in 2026 with a recent workshop facility, we are seeking skilled and motivated Boilermaker / Welders to join our team. The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, our Boilermaker / Welders are responsible for the quality fabrication of:
- Underground escapeways
- Pneumatic vent doors
- Personnel access doors
- Vent brattices & DBRs
- Paste walls
- Dewatering pipework (poly and steel)
- Pumping infrastructure, and more
What We Are Looking For
We value experience, but we’re also committed to training motivated individuals with the right attitude. Key requirements include:
- Essential Criteria
- Certificate III in Engineering (Metal Fabrication) is essential
- Experience fabricating to AS/NZS 1554.1 standards
- Ability to pass a weld test
- C-Class Driver’s License
- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Desirable Criteria
- Experience fabricating pipework
- Coded welding experience
- Fork Lift License
- HR License
- Rigging Ticket
- Work Readiness: Physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical, functional assessment, and drug and alcohol screening.
- Commitment to Safety: A proven track record of adhering to safety systems and maintaining high standards in quality of work and housekeeping.
