Airswift is currently partnering with a well-established engineering company to source experienced Boilermakers and Welders for upcoming marine, defence and industrial projects based in Henderson, WA.
These are workshop-based opportunities offering consistent hours, overtime and weekend work. Enjoy sleeping in your own bed every night. NO FIFO required.
Scope of Work
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Marine and industrial fabrication work
- Structural steel, plate and carbon steel welding
- Reading and interpreting drawings and weld procedures
- FCAW (Flux Core) and Stick welding
- Workshop-based fabrication and assembly
- Maintaining quality standards and completing required documentation
- Working safely in a compliance-driven environment
- Collaborating with trades, supervisors and project teams
What You'll Need
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder
- Previous marine, defence or heavy industrial experience preferred
- Ability to pass a weld test during the interview process
- Experience with
- 3G Flux Core
- 3G Stick Welding
- Carbon Steel
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Mandatory Requirements
- White Card
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- Confined Space (desirable)
- Fire Sentry or willing to obtain one
- Current Police Clearance within 3 months or willing to get one
- Ability to complete site and client inductions
