MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate and carry out bookkeeping of client files and accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation

- Processing payroll & superannuation lodgements

- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures

- Other tasks as directed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and/or relevant experience

- Current drivers licence / own vehicle

Experience:

- 5 years previous experience in a similar role/industry

Skills:

- Experience with accounting programs including MYOB, Quickbooks, and Xero software

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)





- Excellent oral and written communication skills including a high accuracy level

- Effective, well organised and able to meet deadlines with efficient time management skills

- Provide a high level of accuracy in processing business correspondence

- Attention to detail

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

- Complete bookkeeping tasks on time

- Deal with clients, suppliers and staff professionally

- Assist staff with tasks as required
