Hays are currently recruiting a Qualified Building Surveyor for a commercial construction company just North of the River.

This organisation is well established and works with Global Brands throughout WA.

With over 60 years of combined experience and a portfolio of award-winning projects, they deliver practical, integrated solutions for global brands and local enterprises alike.

They are open to newly qualified Building Surveyors or experienced to join their team. Working with all levels of experience you will have the choice to work on private commercial projects or residential council projects.

Please note you must be registered as a building surveyor in WA or if from another state within Australia you must have the eligibility to become registered in WA.

As one of the building surveyors for this family run group, you will work directly with global clients and offer your expertise throughout the design and construction phase of each project.

Your role will include

- Conducting site inspections and preparing compliance reports
- Advising on BCA/NCC requirements and alternative solutions
- Supporting design and construction teams with regulatory guidance
- Liaising with clients, councils,



and contractors
- Preparing documentation for permits and approvals
- Working directly with clients and travelling to the site 1–2 times a month
- Co-ordinating and working within a team that includes an ESD consultant

What you'll need to succeed

- Qualified Building Surveyor with registration in WA
- Robust understanding of WA building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with commercial and industrial projects preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
