We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major data migration and analytics transformation initiative within a large enterprise organisation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring quality delivery across the discovery, planning, and implementation phases of a strategic data transformation program.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale data modernisation initiative, working across multiple workstreams including requirements gathering, business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, business case development, and data migration planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for a complex data migration project.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define current and future state processes.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture requirements and business objectives.
- Support the development of business cases, recommendations, and project documentation.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of requirements and outcomes.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and business-friendly documentation.
- Support project discovery activities, including impact assessments, gap analysis, and solution evaluation.
- Maintain requirements traceability and ensure stakeholder needs are reflected throughout the project lifecycle.

About You You will bring strong experience as a Business Analyst working across complex, multi-stream projects, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups, competing priorities, business requirements, and technical delivery teams while driving successful project outcomes.





Essential Experience

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering data migration, data transformation, or analytics implementation projects.
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and business process mapping skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
- Experience supporting project discovery and business case development activities.

Highly Regarded

- Experience working on enterprise data platform, reporting, or analytics transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to cloud-based data environments and modern data architectures.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management frameworks.
- Experience working within regulated or complex enterprise environments.
