Role Description The Business Analyst will work as part of a cross-functional team to analyze business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for digital products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping and improving business processes, and collaborating closely with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure solutions meet stakeholder objectives. The role involves conducting stakeholder interviews, preparing functional specifications, supporting testing and validation activities, and providing insights that inform product roadmaps and enhancements.
This is a contract, hybrid role based in Redfern, NSW, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work from home flexibility to support productive,
focused work. Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and present findings clearly.
Experience in business process mapping, optimization, and documenting workflows to support digital product development.
Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site teamwork in Redfern, NSW and independent work from home (please note the first six months is based on site)
Experience in digital products or platforms (such as mobile apps, websites, or games)
