This is an exciting prospect to join the talented team at Portland Projects as a Business Development Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company's client portfolio. Based in our Enfield, NSW office, you will play a key strategic role in shaping the company's future direction.
What you'll be doing
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and industry research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to win new business
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective growth strategies
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new areas of opportunity
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline in the CRM system
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in a new business development or sales role, ideally within the sales industry
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and address client needs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with senior stakeholders
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting
