ERP Business Improvements and Systems Manager

Greater Sydney Area | Permanent | 5 Days Onsite

We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Systems Manager with experience in Odoo to lead a small in-house IT team.

You will operate as intermediary between the business and IT, maximising value realisation from the business systems and driving business process improvement, system adoption and organisational change across ERP, warehouse management, eCommerce and operational systems.

This is a permanent role requiring 5 days onsite in their offices south west of Sydney and will require Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.

Responsible for:

- Assure the effective use of the business systems (mostly ERP, Warehouse Management, E-commerce, Delivery Management, RF scanners and printers but Windows, computers and other IT are not excluded) by the business, provide advice on leveraging existing and new system capabilities for business improvement.

- Analyse business processes, design and implement improvements of which major changes can need to be addressed as projects (with or without an additional project manager or project staff).

- Coordinate and monitor end user support by vendors and IT team; coordinate incident and disaster recovery.

- Manage data quality in the systems; ad hoc data administration tasks.





- Collect business requirements for system changes, plan changes, liaise with the IT team and vendors for implementation, perform tests, coordinate business testing, coordinate business transition of the changes, and organisational change management.

- Where require, assist with system configuration tasks.

- Coordinate and provide user training; develop and maintain user documentation.

- Provide input to business and IT strategy.

- Assist with IT planning, business continuity planning, coordinating disaster recovery, roadmap development and vendor/technology selection.

Key Skills required:

- Tertiary qualification in IT

- ITIL Foundation certification & demonstrated experience in an ITIL setting

- Permanent residency and/or Australian Citizen

- Understanding of cyber/IT security fundamentals

- Able to travel interstate

- 3 years or more experience in distribution, in-depth hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and ERP systems

- Experience in a similar role or project manager

- Odoo experience (desirable)

- Consumer Goods / Food Distribution (desirable)

- Project management experience (desirable)

- Procurement and Account knowledge (desirable)
