Big Fat Greek is a busy, family-owned Greek restaurant serving fresh, authentic Greek food, premium coffee, desserts, shakes, and açaí. We pride ourselves on providing fast, friendly service and creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Front of House & Café Team Members to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a quick-paced, customer-focused position where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while helping keep the café and restaurant running smoothly.

Your duties will include

- Greeting customers with a friendly and positive attitude.

- Taking orders accurately using our POS system.

- Preparing barista-quality coffees, Greek coffees, frappés, iced drinks, shakes, and açaí bowls (training provided where required).

- Serving food and beverages efficiently.

- Assisting with Uber Eats, DoorDash and takeaway orders.

- Restocking displays and keeping the café looking clean and well presented.





- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

- Working as part of a supportive team in a busy environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has exceptional customer service skills.

- Is friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with people.

- Can stay calm and organised during busy periods.

- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.

- Has café, hospitality, or barista experience (preferred but not essential).

- Is available to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
