About the role

Cafe One is seeking a Café Allrounder to join our cafe located within BP Little River. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic café environment. As a Café Allrounder, you will be a versatile team member capable of working across multiple areas of our café operations, including food preparation, customer service and barista duties.

Your role will be integral to delivering excellent service and maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You will need to be flexible across all shifts. Our shifts are 1am-9am - Sandwich preparation / 3am-10am - Setting up for the day / 10am-5pm - All rounder

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and assemble food items including sandwiches, rolls, wraps and café offerings to specified standards
2. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently whilst maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
3. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and fulfilling customer requests
4. Manage point-of-sale systems and process payments accurately
5. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and café environment, adhering to food safety regulations
6. Assist with food delivery and stock rotation to ensure ingredients remain fresh
7. Support team members during peak service times and contribute to a positive work environment
8. Follow all health, safety,



and food handling procedures at all times

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a café, kitchen, or hospitality environment
2. Knowledge of food preparation and sandwich making techniques
3. Barista Experience
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
6. Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
7. A friendly, skilled attitude and commitment to teamwork
8. Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain one (preferred)
