Canteen / Café All-Rounder – School Term Position

Thurgoona Bakery is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Café All Rounder to join our team.

This is a school term position based at local K-12 School, with hours generally 6:00am – 2:30pm with approximately 25-30 hours week Monday to Friday. There is also the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at Thurgoona Bakery during school holidays and busy periods.

About the role

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team preparing and serving food and coffee, providing great customer service, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and helping ensure the café runs smoothly each day.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience cooking in a café or similar fast paced food service environment.




- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Has excellent customer service skills.
- Can work efficiently in a rapid paced environment.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a current Working With Children Check.
- Previous café or hospitality experience
- Enjoys working with a diverse range of people, including students, teachers, parents and visitors, and is able to build positive relationships with everyone they interact with.
