About The HeartScreen

The HeartScreen is Australia's first preventative mobile cardiac diagnostic service, delivering specialist-led cardiac investigations directly into GP clinics, aged care facilities, community healthcare settings and corporate workplaces. Our mobile-first model addresses one of Australia's largest healthcare challenges—delayed access to cardiac diagnostics. By bringing high-quality cardiac imaging and monitoring directly to patients, we help facilitate earlier diagnosis, faster treatment pathways, and better cardiovascular outcomes.

Our services are Medicare-aligned, bulk billed where eligible, and supported by experienced reporting cardiologists and a highly structured clinical operations team.

About the Role

Working independently with the support of our wider sonography, operations and cardiology teams,



you'll travel throughout Western Australia performing cardiac diagnostics across a variety of community healthcare environments.

You'll work within

- GP Clinics
- Specialist Medical Centres
- Aged Care Facilities
- Community Healthcare Services
- Large Corporate Health Screening Programs

You'll have ongoing clinical support from experienced reporting cardiologists and a collaborative team who are always available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently perform high-quality Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE)
- Perform Stress Echocardiography
- Fit Holter Monitors and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors
- Deliver exceptional patient-centred care in community settings
- Produce accurate clinical documentation for cardiologist reporting
- Maintain portable ultrasound equipment and mobile diagnostic systems
- Build robust relationships with GPs, practice staff and healthcare partners
- Represent The HeartScreen professionally across all clinical locations

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a highly supportive team. Essential Requirements

- ASAR Accredited Cardiac Sonographer
- Postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Sonography




- Minimum 2–3 years' experience performing cardiac ultrasound
- Competent in Stress Echocardiography
- Ability to work independently across multiple clinical environments
- Willingness to travel (paid travel provided) to regional and interstate sites when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, approachable and patient-focused
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Australian work rights at the time of application

Highly Regarded

- Experience in mobile, outreach or regional healthcare
- Experience working outside of traditional hospital environments
- Interest in preventative health and community-based healthcare delivery
