Be the welcoming face of our community-based OOSH Centre, supporting families and staff with daily administration tasks. Warrawee Care Centre is a 300 place OOSH service located in the grounds of Warrawee Public School. We are a not for profit, community based service that provides high quality care for students attending Warrawee Public School.

About The Role

We're seeking a Centre Administrator to join our close-knit team at Warrawee Care Centre. This part-time role offers 16-20 hours per week, with versatile working arrangements and above award pay depending on the candidate’s experience. The hours are spread across 4-5 days.

As the administrator of our large community-based OOSH Centre, you'll provide outstanding customer service and administrative support to children, families and staff. You'll manage enrolments and family accounts, maintain accurate records and reporting, coordinate centre resources and work closely with the Centre Director to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. You'll build meaningful relationships with families and play an important role in creating a warm, connected and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Support families, including waitlists, expressions of interest, enrolments, bookings, invoicing, subsidies and debt management.
- Manage medical records of children and associated documents
- Oversee onboarding for new staff
- Maintain accurate databases, documentation and administrative systems
- Respond to phone, email, web and in-person enquiries from new and existing families in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the OOSH service director & staff team, families, school staff, key stakeholders and the community..




- Understanding and ability to set budgets and work with the Centre business manager and director
- Maintain policies, procedures, risk registers, staffing records and day-to-day service documentation ensuring accuracy, currency and availability as required.
- Follow established processes while contributing practical ideas that improve efficiency, service quality and ways of working.
- Maintain confidentiality, privacy, safety and a high standard of customer service across all interactions and records.

Essential Requirements You will have experience and skills in the following:

- Previous administration experience, desirably in childcare or community setting
- Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a relationship-focused approach
- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidence working with data, records and financial processes
- Proficient computer skills, with experience using childcare management systems and knowledge of CCS highly regarded
- A proactive, collaborative and positive approach to work
- Current valid Working with Children Check.
