Levantine Hill wines have quickly gained a world-class reputation, already winning many major awards and the acclaim of leading wine experts. We will soon be opening a recent luxury hotel, to add to our Estate that features a world-class winemaking and events facility, in addition to the cellar door and restaurant.

SALARY & BONUSES

Renumeration is based on the Industry Award and includes a generous bonus scheme for reaching personal targets, as well as a generous wine allowance.

- A SALES Magnetic! You get excited about closing sales and conversions!

- A wine expert fluent in the language of tannins, terroir, and tasting notes.

- Intermediate wine knowledge is required to effectively communicate wine characteristics and provide expert guidance to customers.

- Driven to achieve targets while still engaging with our TOP-tier members.

- Professional language proficiency in Mandarin is a plus!

- Working for a luxury boutique winery, you will bring your love for fine wine and confident people skills to work the venue when the cellar door is quiet to drive sales.

- A lovely, engaging phone manner, to follow up member purchases and provide customer service.





- Willing to learn take the initiative and be seen as a valuable team member within the wider organisation.

- Recent experience in cellar door operations and sales is preferable for this role
- A minimum of 1-2 years of cellar door sales experience is required for this position.

- Valid Australian work rights are required, with work visa holders welcome to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct tastings with diners and cellar door visitors, telling the Levantine Hill brand story, with an emphasis on closing take-home wine sales

- Actively drive sales of the company's wine products in line with daily and monthly

- Sell wine subscriptions and Wine Club memberships – 'The Inner Circle'.

- Demonstrate and share your passion and knowledge of wine to craft memorable customer experiences (RSA /WSET) Desirable.

- RSA certification must be obtained before commencing employment.

- A sales gun, working with the Cellar Door and the restaurant floor specifically to identify members wanting to purchase take-home wine sales and build relationships.

- Work effectively with the Direct-to-Consumer team to pass on leads generated within the restaurant for follow up.

- Participate in technical tastings representing a broad consumer perspective, including corporate members, large format groups in our private VIP space.

- Handle and develop the customer and cellar door visitor databases.

- Manage and record stock movements.

- Opening and closing duties of the venue.

- Take active responsibility with health and safety policies to implement control strategies to eliminate or minimise identified risks.

- Support our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits, cellar door tastings.
