Chef – Full-Time Position

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Salary: $79,499 – $95,000 per annum + superannuation (negotiable based on skills, experience and qualifications)

ELG Australia is seeking an experienced and qualified Chef(s) at different levels to join our growing hospitality group across our venues in Perth, Western Australia.

We operate multiple dining venues across Perth and are looking for a passionate culinary professional to join our kitchen team. The successful applicant will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen management team to deliver high-quality food, maintain efficient kitchen operations, and ensure exceptional standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications and kitchen standards.
- Assist with the daily operation of the kitchen, including preparation, service, and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Manage food preparation, storage, stock rotation, and safe handling procedures.
- Assist with menu execution and contribute ideas to improve kitchen operations.
- Monitor stock levels, minimise food wastage, and support food cost management.




- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a safe and organised working environment.
- Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen team members where required.

Skills and Experience Required The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience with stock control, ordering, and food cost management.

About the Position This is a full-time position offering a market-competitive salary package based on experience and skills. The successful applicant may be required to work across our Perth venues, including locations such as Iluka, Hillary's, Sorrento, Applecross and Yanchep.
