Melrose Restaurant & Rooftop Bar is an award-winning, contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant in the heart of Bulimba. We're expanding our kitchen team and are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join us.

About the Role
Working alongside our Sous Chef and kitchen team, you'll be responsible for running your own section while delivering consistently high-quality dishes during lunch and dinner service.
This is an excellent chance for an experienced chef looking to further develop their skills in a premium dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to Melrose's high standards.
- Manage your own section during service.
- Complete mise en place and service preparation.
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Maintain food safety and HACCP standards.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control (FIFO).
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Keep your section clean, organised and compliant.
- Support menu development and daily specials.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and Front of House teams.
About You
You'll bring
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Chef.
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (preferred).
- Passion for premium food and hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy service environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,894.66 per year
