Remuneration: $39.98 ph (includes 25% loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits.

Role Type: Casual (including providing coverage for annual leave between September to November 2026 and December to February 2027)

Your Role – More Than Just Cooking:

- Prepares and presents diverse, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
- Collaborates with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
- Work with the Head Chef to fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
- Assist with menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
- Collaborates and innovates with the team to deliver continuous improvement cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.

What You Bring to the Table:

- A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideallyin Aged Careor large-scale catering.
- A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
