Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design advanced chemistry problems that rigorously test AI reasoning and performance — spanning chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
Develop explicit, step-by-step solutions that reflect rigorous scientific logic
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and quality
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate-to-Masters-level chemistry topics
Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves large language model (LLM)
capabilities Who You Are Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and scientific rigor
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on a flexible schedule
No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows
Familiarity with how large language models work
