An exciting opportunity is currently available fora part-time Clinical ResearchAssistant to join the Centre forInnate Immunity and Infectious Diseases at Hudson Institute ofMedical Research, Australia's leading Medical Research Institute. This role will coordinate specimen collection,manage data and ensure ethical compliance.

TypicalResponsibilities

- Co-ordinate collections of specimens forexperiments between Monash Health clinicians and Hudson researchers - Track participant details in a secureserver and link to biobank - Ensure ethical processes are intact andorganised appropriately with all collaborators - Set up standard equipment or techniques tocriteria developed and specified by others Beneficial Skills:
- Relevant training and/or periodexperience in a similar role - Ability to work independently - Ability to record and documentexperimental procedures according to established protocols EMPLOYMENT TERMS This position is a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility ofbeing extended. The role is part time (0.5 - 0.6 FTE - must be available to work Monday andThursday).

Salary is based on ResearchSupport Staff RSS X. Superannuation of 12.5%and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
