Clinical Support Administrator – Emergency Department – The Sutherland Hospital Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3 Remuneration: $35.84 – $36.96 per hour Hours Per Week: 32 hours Location: The Sutherland Hospital, Caringbah Application Close Date: 26 July 2026 This fast‑paced role is located in the Emergency Department where excellent customer service skills, reliability and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential. The successful candidate will work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Shift structure

- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm - Night Shift: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am We have the following opportunities available:
- One part‑time position (4 days per week) on a rotating roster, or two part‑time positions (2 days per week each) on a rotating roster.
- Casual positions are also available.

Key responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service, maintain a professional and confidential attitude, perform advanced administrative and clerical tasks with high data accuracy, communicate effectively, multi‑task and problem‑solve in a high acuity area,



work well in a multi‑disciplinary team and comply with a 24 hour rotating roster.

Essential qualifications and skills

- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a skilled and confidential attitude.
- Demonstrated advanced administrative and clerical skills including data accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and problem‑solve in a high acuity area.

- Ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster.
