We are seeking two dedicated Commercial Cleaners to join our team in Surry Hills, New South Wales from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday commencing Monday, 20 July 2026.
This permanent, full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of this reputable site, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust work ethic and attention to detail, contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of our housing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including common areas, restrooms, and office spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment,
ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleaning or post-event cleaning
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Smart Phone required
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
