As a Commercial & Intellectual Property Lawyer you are responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support across a broad range of commercial, contractual, intellectual property, technology, privacy, and regulatory matters. Working closely with key business stakeholders, this role plays a critical part in protecting and maximising the value of the organisation’s intellectual property assets, managing legal and regulatory risk, and enabling the achievement of business objectives through commercially focused, practical legal solutions. Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements
- Manage contract lifecycle activities and improve legal processes.
- Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate, IP, and litigation matters.
- Advise on corporate structures, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and due diligence activities.
- Manage disputes, litigation matters, and preparation of court documents.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, including IP and employment-related issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver practical and commercially focused legal solutions.




- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Successful negotiation and execution of commercial agreements.
- Technology, Data and Digital Matters

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor of Law (LLB, JD or equivalent).
- Current practising certificate and admission as a legal practitioner.
- 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial law and intellectual property law.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property legislation and practice.
- Experience advising on technology, licensing and digital matters.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes.
- Dispute Resolution and Litigation experience
