Position in a nut shell:

As the Commercial Sales Manager, initially you will be the forefront of the business, hunting current opportunities and managing a portfolio of clients across the civil infrastructure and commercial space. This is initially a standalone role that will turn into a leadership role in 2027. There will also be a requirement to travel to WA occasionally to set up that region with the view of hiring someone there full time next year, that will also report to you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and effect the strategy for new project wins
- Educate engineers and major builders in the methodologies and advantages using our clients solutions




- Generate revenue and new opportunities across infrastructure and major commercial projects
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key clients and customers within the commercial / civil market
- Must hold Australian work rights with no sponsorship requirements

Non negotiables:

- Proven field sales experience from the building materials space – senior BDM or KAM level
- Relationships with Commercial Builders, Asset Owners, Civil Contractors, Structural Engineers, Councils, Government, Road, Traffic or Train Authorities is a must
- A hunter mentality

- Stable career history
- Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations
- Must be up for a challenge
- Able to travel to WA occasionally

Perfect Experience:

- A structural or civil engineering background is highly desirable (as are other disciplines), however what is essential is someone who thrives in a new business sales environment with a strong technical appreciation of building products
- Tangible products peviously sold could be cladding, roofing, walls, acoustic barriers, formwork, modular buildings, piping, tensile, capital equipment, water treatment, drilling equipment, underground drainage, waterproofing, reinforcing, cement, concrete or waterproofing
- Keen to progress into a more senior role in 2027
