The Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications & Data Networks Integration Engineer to provide specialist engineering support for complex Defence command, control, communications and networked capability environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Support communications and data network engineering, integration and interoperability activities.
- Conduct requirements analysis, systems integration and architecture development.
- Support tactical data links, Defence networks and related engineering services.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, interface definitions and architecture artefacts.
- Provide systems engineering support for testing, certification and integration activities.

Required

- Demonstrated experience in communications networks, systems integration and systems engineering.




- Experience with Defence networks, Tactical Data Links, Command and Control (C2) systems or comparable environments.
- Experience developing requirements, technical assessments and architecture documentation.
- Current NV1 Security Clearance (NV2 or TSPV highly regarded).
- Ability to work onsite in Canberra, ACT.
- DISP Level 2 membership eligibility or experience working within DISP environments is desirable.
