About the Role

YNA is seeking compassionate and experienced Community Care Workers / Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals living with disability and complex support needs across community-based settings.

This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting children, young people, and adults to feel safe, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals. You will provide person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

You will be part of a professional and caring team delivering individualised support to people with diverse needs. This may include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, emotional regulation, social participation, community access, appointments, therapy support, and skill development.

What you will bring to the role

We are looking for reliable and compassionate support workers who are passionate about supporting people with disability and can build strong, trusting relationships.

- Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care/Disability / Individual Support & paid experience

- Experience supporting children, young people, or adults with disability and complex support needs

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including short-notice backfill requirements - including passive ND

- Minimum 6 months paid experience

- Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

- NDIS Worker Screening Card & Clearance is essential

- Working with Children Card

- Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence & access to a vehicle

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
