About the Role
Our company is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to assist with supporting our care team and clients in their homes. This unique opportunity will allow you to put your wealth of experience and knowledge into a mentor style role.
As part of our clinical team, this hybrid role combines community-based client support with office-based clinical responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while supporting and developing our frontline workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working across both community and office environments
- Undertaking clinical shifts within the community
- Delivering clinical education and training to support staff
- Developing and reviewing individualised Nursing Care Plans
- Assessing and signing off staff clinical competencies
- Supporting the onboarding and transition of recent clients into our services
- Providing expert clinical guidance at client, family, and stakeholder meetings
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring strong clinical expertise and experience working with clients who have complex care needs.
Key skills and experience include:
- Experience supporting individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries and/or other neurological conditions
- Sound knowledge and experience managing neurogenic bladder and bowel care
- Clinical experience in complex care environments, either within the community, hospital, or disability sector
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to person-centred care and clinical excellence
