About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership, operational support and guidance to a team of Community Service Coordinators responsible for delivering a range of Council-funded and Commonwealth-funded community services.

You will ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with legislative and funding requirements while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Service Coordinators.

· Coordinate the delivery of Home Support and Community Services.

· Recruit, onboard, coach and manage team performance.

· Monitor service delivery, quality standards and compliance requirements.

· Support workforce planning and continuous service improvement initiatives.

· Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers and community stakeholders.

· Assist with reporting, budgets, KPIs and operational planning.

· Promote a positive,



customer-focused and collaborative team culture.

· Ensure compliance with Council policies, aged care standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

You will be an approachable leader who enjoys developing people and delivering outstanding services.

To be successful, you will have:

· Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within community services, aged care, health or disability services.

· Experience managing teams and achieving operational outcomes.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

· Experience working within Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages or similar community services (highly regarded).

· A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

· Sound computer skills and experience using client management systems.

Essential Requirements

· Qualifications in Community Services, Aged Care, Health, Human Services or a related discipline.

· Current Class C Driver Licence.

· National Police Check.

· Current Working with Children Check (where required).

· Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
