The Millmerran Power Station, operated by Millmerran Operating Company is located approximately 60 minutes from Toowoomba in the Surat Basin and is supported by the adjacent coal mine. With a 24/7 generating capacity of 850-megawatts across two units, Millmerran is a significant base load power supplier to homes and businesses in Queensland. It reliably generates enough electricity to power the equivalent of 1.3 million homes, meeting around 10 per cent of Queensland’s energy needs.

Our plant operation supports around 250 local roles including employees and contractors.

About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Administrator to join our team at the Millmerran Power Station, located in Millmerran QLD. Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the Compliance Administrator supports compliance, governance, risk and assurance activities across Millmerran Power Station and the adjacent coal mine. Working closely with site leaders and the Brisbane-based Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager, the role is responsible for coordinating compliance frameworks and maintaining policies and records as well as, support with internal audits, regulatory reporting and monitoring compliance obligations.

The Compliance

Administrator is a newly created position who will act as the key liaison point between site operations and the Brisbane corporate office to strengthen governance, manage compliance risks,



ensure documentation integrity and drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the administration and ongoing improvement of compliance, governance, risk and assurance frameworks across the Power Station, Mine and Brisbane head office

- Maintain compliance registers, policies and governance documentation ensuring records are accurate

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and assurance activities, including the tracking and closure of corrective actions.

- Monitor compliance obligations, identify and escalate potential compliance risks or breaches and assist with reporting requirements.

- Administer document control processes including the review, approval and publication of policies and procedures

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and action tracking through JDE.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator with demonstrated experience in compliance administration management and governance. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to identifying and managing compliance-related risks paired with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities. You will be a confident communicator who can build effective working relationships across site and corporate teams and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a complex operational environment.





Experience working in energy, mining or construction industries will be highly regarded.

Essential

- Exceptional attention to detail with a problem solving and continuous improvement mindset

- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.

- Demonstrated experience working in compliance, governance, risk, audit or document control
