MW Civil is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our growing team delivering major civil earthworks and infrastructure projects across the mining and resources sector.

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in bulk earthworks, FRP and detailed earthworks. You will play a key leadership role across multiple projects, working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from pre-planning and mobilisation through to completion.

You will provide leadership to project teams, subcontractors and site personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, reporting, project programme and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the safe and successful delivery of civil earthworks and infrastructure projects.
- Manage construction activities across bulk earthworks, FRP and detailed earthworks packages.
- Coordinate project resources, subcontractors, plant and labour.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
- Drive project planning, construction sequencing and resource allocation.
- Monitor project performance, productivity, reporting and programme.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, statutory requirements and company procedures.
- Build and maintain robust working relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop Supervisors, Engineers and site personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and project outcomes

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a Construction Manager or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering major civil earthworks projects within the mining and resources sector.




- Demonstrated experience managing bulk earthworks, FRP (Form, Reo & Pour) and detailed earthworks packages.
- Experience delivering projects within operational mining environments, including Tier 1 clients such as BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and reinforced concrete construction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of earthmoving operations, plant productivity and construction sequencing.
- Familiarity with the production capabilities and operational outputs of construction plant and equipment.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors and coordinate plant and labour resources.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting and programme delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications The following qualifications will be highly regarded:

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Current White Card.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol assessment.
- Full Australian working rights.
