Social Media Manager & Content Creator (Part-Time)

20 Hours Per Week | Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time At The Social Game Creative, we're looking for someone who lives and breathes social media.

This isn't just a social media management role, we're searching for a creative storyteller who is obsessed with content creation, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and knows how to turn everyday moments into engaging, high-performing content.

What You'll Be Doing

- Creating engaging content for a diverse range of businesses across multiple industries.
- Filming high-quality Reels, TikToks and short-form video content.
- Editing videos that are polished, engaging and aligned with current social media trends.
- Developing content ideas that aren't just creative—but strategically designed to perform.
- Confidently appearing on camera and coaching clients to feel comfortable in front of the lens.
- Attending content creation days at client locations.
- Planning monthly content with clients and our internal team.
- Managing multiple client accounts while ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Staying on top of social media trends, platform updates and emerging content styles.
- Working closely with our creative team to bring marketing campaigns to life.

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Has exceptional filming and video editing skills.
- Is genuinely obsessed with content creation and social media marketing.
- Understands what makes content perform—not just what looks positive.
- Has a robust eye for storytelling, composition, lighting and audio.
- Loves coming up with fresh, creative ideas.
- Is confident both behind and in front of the camera.




- Builds great relationships with clients and communicates professionally.
- Is organised, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Is always learning and keeping up with the latest trends and platform changes.

Essential Requirements

- Available to work 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
- Proven experience filming and editing social media content.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Own laptop.
- Comfortable travelling to client meetings and content creation days.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

- Experience working in a marketing or social media agency.
- Graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience managing Meta Ads or Google Ads.
- Photography experience.
- Strong copywriting skills for captions and hooks.
