The successful candidate will collaborate with writers, designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure every piece of content meets quality expectations while maintaining the intended voice and messaging. The Content Editor / Copy Editor is expected to identify inconsistencies, verify factual accuracy when necessary, improve sentence flow, eliminate grammatical and typographical errors, and ensure all content follows established style guides and brand guidelines.
Daily responsibilities include editing and proofreading content before publication, restructuring paragraphs for better readability, ensuring logical organization of information, correcting spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax, and maintaining consistency in terminology and formatting. The role also involves reviewing headlines, captions, metadata, and call-to-action elements to maximize clarity and audience engagement.
The Content Editor / Copy Editor works closely with content creators throughout the editorial process, providing constructive feedback that improves content quality while preserving the original intent.
