- Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $116,981 - $129,492 + super & leave loading

- Temporary role until December 2026 based in Sydney, NSW

We're looking for a highly organised Contracts Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring contracts are effectively managed, compliant and deliver value for the organisation and the creative sector.

About the role

As a Contracts Officer, you'll coordinate the development, implementation and administration of contract documentation and management processes to ensure agreements meet legal, procurement and organisational requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal advisers, you'll help manage contract performance, mitigate risk and support informed decision-making across a diverse portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong contract administration or procurement experience who enjoys working collaboratively, solving problems and improving processes.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinate the development, implementation and ongoing administration of contract management plans.

- Prepare, review and maintain contract documentation, registers and compliance records to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

- Monitor supplier and contract performance by analysing data, identifying trends and preparing reports and dashboards for management.

- Support procurement activities, including tender preparation,



evaluation processes and supplier onboarding.

- Work with internal stakeholders and legal advisers to ensure contracts meet legislative, policy and organisational requirements.

- Develop and maintain tools, templates and guidance materials that strengthen contract management capability and promote consistent practices.

- Identify and manage contract risks, escalating issues where required and supporting effective resolutions.

- Build productive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to maximise contract outcomes and resolve operational issues.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities. You have strong analytical skills, sound judgement and the ability to build effective relationships across a range of stakeholders.

You'll also bring

- Experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement or a related field.

- Knowledge of contract management principles, procurement processes and compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare meaningful reports.

- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Experience maintaining contract registers,



records and documentation.

- The ability to identify risks, solve problems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
