GRID INVESTMENT GROUP PTY LTD Pasta Cup Bunbury is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pasta dishes and other menu items in accordance with Pasta Cup recipes and standards. The role requires maintaining consistent food quality, ensuring compliance with food safety requirements, managing food preparation and stock, and contributing to the efficient operation of a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

The Cook will also assist in training junior staff and work collaboratively to deliver an excellent dining experience for customers. Benefits What

Task & responsibilities Prepare, cook and present pasta dishes and other menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Prepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats and other food items for daily kitchen operations.

Monitor cooking times, portion sizes and food presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction. Ensure all food is prepared, stored and handled in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, utensils, equipment and food preparation areas.

Monitor stock levels, rotate stock, and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.



Inspect the quality and freshness of food ingredients before use and minimise food wastage. Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance requirements.

Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, hygiene practices and kitchen procedures. Work efficiently during busy service periods to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in accordance with food safety requirements.

Follow workplace health and safety policies and contribute to a safe and positive team environment. Liaise with supervisors and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high levels of customer service. Qualification & experience To be successful, you will have: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Cook/Chef. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine (preferred but not essential).

Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
