Glen Innes Severn Council is seeking an experienced and motivated operational leader to support the protected, efficient and compliant operation of Glen Innes Aggregates. ?️ The Role The Coordinator Glen Innes Aggregates plays a key role in day‑to‑day quarry operations, ensuring production targets, safety standards and customer service expectations are consistently met. The role works across both office and site environments and supports the Manager Glen Innes Aggregates in operational planning and continuous improvement. ? Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily quarry production, stockpile levels, loading activities and customer service to meet operational targets.
- Liaise with and supervise contractors (crushing, drilling, blasting, haulage)
and coordinate maintenance with the Workshop Supervisor.
- Lead WHS, environmental, quality and risk management activities, including toolbox talks, hazard identification, compliance monitoring and safe handling of hazardous substances.
- Ensure plant and equipment are operated safely, maintained appropriately and kept clean, and assist with material sampling and testing.
- Maintain accurate operational and compliance records, assist with tenders and quotes, and operate plant/equipment when required.
- Provide day‑to‑day supervision of staff, supporting performance, development and safe work practices.

? About You
Essential
- Experience in quarrying, mining or civil construction operations
- Ability to coordinate daily work activities and supervise contractors
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills for reporting, recordkeeping and compliance
- Ability to implement and monitor WHS, environmental, risk and quality requirements
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft 365, email, internet)
- Class C Driver Licence
Desirable
- MR Driver Licence
- Competency in operating mobile plant (loaders, skid steers, excavators)
- NSW Above Ground Mine Production Manager’s Certificate of Competence
