About the role
This role leads the day to-to-day operations of the Intensive Family Support Service, supporting a team delivering outreach support work and parenting services to children, young people and families who are currently involved with the Department of Communities within the Mirrabooka and Joondalup regions.
In this role, you will provide leadership, supervision and coaching to a team while ensuring services are delivered in line with evidence-based practice, funding requirements and MercyCare values. You will provide oversight of incident management, manage referrals and allocations, and participate in regular Partnership Meetings with the Department of Communities.
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Mirrabooka office.
About you
You will have experience leading, coaching, and developing teams to deliver high-quality services, along with the ability to foster a cooperative and high-performing team culture. You will be confident building relationships, navigating complex situations, and supporting your team to deliver responsive and impactful services.
You will also be passionate about supporting children, young people, and families experiencing complex and high-risk circumstances, and be committed to achieving positive outcomes.
In addition, you will also possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or related discipline (desirable)
- Strong case management, stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
- Experience working collaboratively with external organisations and communities
- Department of Communities 395 Clearance
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
