We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Technical SME / Senior Developer Lead to help establish, scale and operationalise Copilot Studio agent delivery as a core enterprise capability.

This is not a general Power Platform Developer role. The successful candidate must bring demonstrated, hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions in an enterprise environment, including agent design and development, conversational design, prompt engineering, knowledge integration, orchestration, governance and production deployment.

You will work within a mature Power Platform team with established governance, workplace management, solution delivery, support and Centre of Excellence functions. Your role will be to help extend this capability into enterprise AI agent delivery, ensuring Copilot Studio solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, reusable and production ready.

This role can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in Australia.

Key responsibilities

You will act as the embedded Copilot Studio SME within an established Power Platform function, providing technical leadership, practical delivery input and capability uplift across AI agent solutions.

Responsibilities will include

- Designing, building and implementing Microsoft Copilot Studio agents
- Establishing Copilot Studio agent delivery as a repeatable enterprise capability
- Providing hands-on expertise across conversation design, prompt engineering, orchestration and AI-driven solution patterns
- Supporting the maturity of Copilot Studio delivery pathways across internal, vendor and hybrid delivery models
- Developing reusable patterns, standards and reference architectures for AI agent delivery
- Advising on Copilot Studio governance,



guardrails and responsible AI practices
- Supporting risk management across data exposure, hallucination, compliance, knowledge-source control and secure access
- Working closely with architecture, security and governance stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise security, data classification, identity and access management requirements
- Supporting DevOps, ALM, testing, deployment and transition to BAU support
- Ensuring Copilot Studio solutions are fully supportable within the broader Power Platform operating model
- Providing technical assurance and quality oversight of vendor-delivered Copilot Studio solutions
- Coaching and mentoring internal teams across Copilot Studio development, prompt engineering, AI design patterns, monitoring and optimisation of agent behaviour

Mandatory experience To be considered, you must be able to clearly demonstrate:

- Hands-on Microsoft Copilot Studio development experience
- Enterprise AI agent delivery using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Experience with Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Dataverse
- Agent design and development experience
- Conversational design and prompt engineering experience
- Knowledge integration and secure enterprise deployment experience
- DevOps and ALM practices for Copilot Studio / Power Platform solutions

Candidates without demonstrated Microsoft Copilot Studio development experience will not be considered.
