Programmed is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator / Plant Operator to join a leading construction materials manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistent Monday to Friday work with an immediate start. The successful candidate will perform a combination of forklift operation and cement bagging plant duties in a fast-paced industrial environment.

- Day Shift: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $38.86 per hour

About your new role

- Operating a counterbalance forklift to transport finished products and materials safely throughout the site
- Operating a cement bulk bagging machine following established procedures
- Loading empty paper cement bags onto the production conveyor
- Monitoring the automated bagging process to ensure efficient production
- Wrapping completed pallets and transporting finished products to the designated holding area
- Assisting with general production and plant operations as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures while working with cement products
- Working in a dusty industrial setting and wearing the required PPE at all times

About you





- Current LF Forklift Licence is essential
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience is required
- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, or plant operations is highly regarded
- Comfortable working in a dirty and dusty industrial environment
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks throughout the shift
- Robust attention to detail and able to maintain concentration while operating machinery
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance
- Looking for long-term, ongoing employment
- Full Australian working rights
- Able to complete pre-employment requirements before commencing
