Can you work independently and carry out major repairs on Cranes and accurately diagnose faults? Are you looking to join an OEM known for high performance machinery? Liebherr Maritime Cargo and Construction Division has an opportunity for experienced and motivated technicians to be based in our Redcliffe Workshop in Perth and working Offshore when required.

These positions involve regular travel to offshore customer sites, with assignments typically lasting up to two weeks at a time. Due to the demand-driven nature of the business and customer requirements, these roles do not operate on a fixed roster.

When not attending offshore assignments, employees work a standard 38-hour week. Offshore deployments generally consist of 12-hour days over a 14-day period, with overtime rates applicable, providing strong earning potential.

As workload and travel requirements can vary based on customer demand, flexibility and a willingness to travel at short notice are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Standard working hours from the Redcliffe Workshop M-F / 38hr week when not assigned to a project





- Working on Cranes in our Maritime Cargo and Construction division flying by chopper to Offshore oil and gas rigs for up to 2 weeks per callout.

- When Offshore hours are 12 hour days for 14 days straight - generally required to have a 2-week break before going offshore again – potential to go offshore again two weeks later, or it could be 3 or more weeks depending on what work is planned.

- Repairs and General Maintenance on Cranes

- Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

About you

- Mobile Plant Mechanic qualification required

- Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability

- Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
- A current driver's license

- Forklift and Air conditioning accreditation advantageous

- Basic Word and Excel abilities

- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

- Australian work rights are required for this position
