About the role

ABT Supplies (SA) Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
- Resolving customer complaints and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters when necessary
- Processing customer orders, transactions, and requests accurately and promptly
- Providing product and service information to customers to help them make informed decisions
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
- Following company procedures and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery
- Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services where appropriate
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met effectively
- Continuously seeking feedback and suggesting improvements to customer service processes

What we're looking for





- Proven experience in a customer service or customer-facing role, ideally within a call centre or similar workplace
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software applications
- Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information and processing transactions
- Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting performance targets
- Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Relevant qualifications in customer service or business communication are advantageous
- Previous experience in the supplies industry or a related field would be beneficial
