Primary objective

Provide assistance, support and coordination across cyber security governance, quality assurance and risk management activities. Evaluate,

develop and maintain effective governance policies and reporting systems for the Cyber work area.

Context statement The Department of Corporate and Digital Development manages digital systems on behalf of NT Government agencies. The position operates within a team providing All of Government cyber security risk and assurance advice and support. The position is required to work in a busy environment with involvement in sensitive issues, supporting cyber security governance and compliance administration and related projects.

Key duties and responsibilities

1.



Undertake a variety of administrative and project coordination activities across cyber security governance, quality assurance and risk

management activities, including, but not limited to, secretariat support, research and analysis, compliance audits and assessments, reporting and records management, and policy guidance and documentation.
1. Undertake quality assurance reviews of project / program documentation, to assist with consistency and quality across all deliverables.
2. Ensure effective reporting systems are developed and implemented, and quality reports, submissions, and briefings are provided

regarding all areas of responsibility, including ensuring the secure management of information.
- Research, investigate, develop and contribute to projects, policies, guidelines and procedures associated with corporate governance,

risk management, business continuity and audit and review matters.
- Contribute to business use system development and support the administration of ICT security systems, including ServiceNow.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively with other team members to ensure alignment with activities across the broader Cyber NT teams.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Demonstrated experience in working effectively as part of a team and independently, including high level personal organisational skills

and initiative, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.




- Highly developed interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills for effective and professional communication; and demonstrated competence in preparing and maintaining a range of documentation such as policy, guidelines, standard operating processes, executive reports, governance papers and memorandum with high attention to detail.

1. Ability to analyse and interpret policy and regulations and demonstrate confidence in providing clear advice to clients and colleagues.
2. Knowledge of ICT management practices, governance and secretariat, risk management, audit, and project management processes

and related tools and frameworks or the ability to quickly acquire.
- Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion and to exercise sound judgment and show maturity in dealing with complex and sensitive matters.

1. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful and

creative.
- Hold or have eligibility to obtain Baseline 1 National Security Clearance.

Desirable

1. Experience, qualifications or certifications in Cyber Security, Governance, Project Management, Audit, Risk Management or other

related discipline.
- Knowledge of ICT or cyber security frameworks.
