We are seeking an experienced DataStage Developer to support a major upgrade of our IBM DataStage platform within a large and complex enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in upgrading, maintaining and supporting the organisation's DataStage workplace, while assisting with the migration and modernisation of data integration workloads.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience working with IBM DataStage 8.7 or later in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong experience designing, developing and supporting ETL and data integration solutions.
- Experience delivering DataStage upgrades, migrations or platform modernisation initiatives.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Oracle, SQL Server or other enterprise RDBMS platforms.
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing and data integration concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the upgrade of IBM DataStage in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Develop, maintain and support enterprise ETL and data integration solutions.
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of DataStage jobs and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, data issues and platform-related problems.
