Ipswich Private Schools Educlean is seeking reliable, motivated and detail-focused part-time daytime school cleaners and boarding house cleaners to join our growing team across private schools in the Ipswich region.

- Periodical and detailed cleaning support

Various part-time daytime rosters are available. Applicants may be rostered across one or more school locations depending on availability and operational requirements.

About the Role

You will play an important role in maintaining clean, secure, hygienic and welcoming environments for students, boarding students, teachers, staff and visitors. Depending on the site and roster, duties may include cleaning classrooms, boarding accommodation, bathrooms, offices, communal areas and other school facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:
- Cleaning classrooms, learning areas and administration spaces
- Cleaning boarding rooms, bathrooms and shared living areas
- Making beds and preparing boarding rooms where required
- Cleaning offices, staffrooms, kitchens and communal spaces
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Emptying bins and managing internal waste collection
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and amenities
- Replenishing toilet paper, hand towels, soap and other consumables
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Reporting maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns
- Supporting periodic and detailed cleaning activities
- Following site-specific cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Maintaining consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation

Previous commercial, school, hotel or accommodation cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Mandatory Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to:
- Hold or obtain a valid Queensland Working with Children Check, commonly known as a Blue Card
- Hold or obtain a National Police Check where required
- Complete applicable school and Educlean induction requirements
- Comply with all site safety, presentation and conduct standards
- Provide evidence of their legal right to work in Australia

Reliable transport and a current driver licence are preferred.
