About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our friendly team at Smile Dental Team in Penrith, NSW. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Dental Assistant and Receptionist, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

- Providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, ensuring a calm and efficient experience for patients
- Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment for dental procedures
- Greeting and welcoming patients, booking appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Maintaining accurate patient records and following up on any outstanding treatments
- Supporting the practice's administrative tasks, such as filing, ordering supplies, and general office duties
- Demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and patient care

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist beneficial, with an understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- A friendly, customer-service oriented approach with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional patient care
- Proficiency in using dental 4 windows software
- Experience in dental assisting a benefit or customer service would be highly regarded
