Dental Assistant /Receptionist – Part‑Time (Ashgrove, 3‑Chair Practice)

We are a 3‑chair private dental practice in Ashgrove, providing all facets of dentistry including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. We're looking for a part‑time Dental Assistant/Receptionist with sterilisation and chairside experience who enjoys both front-of-house and clinical work.

About the role
- Welcome patients, manage phones, bookings, payments, and health fund claims at reception using Dental4Windows.
- Oversee sterilisation and infection control processes, instrument processing and room turnover.
- Provide chairside assisting across a wide range of procedures (general, restorative, cosmetic, implants).
- Assist with day‑to‑day admin and stock duties to keep the practice running smoothly.

About you
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant, including sterilisation and chairside work.
- Formal dental assistant certification (Cert III/IV) preferred.




- Experience as a dental receptionist and/or dental assistant, including sterilisation.
- Confident, warm communicator with a professional manner.
- Enjoys working in a small team and happy to help wherever needed (reception, steri, rooms).
- Comfortable with digital workflows; experience with CEREC, intraoral scanners and/or Dental4Windows is a bonus but not essential.
- Formal dental assistant certification preferred.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship required.

Position details
- Part‑time: 2–3 days per week.
- Flexible scheduling with 2-3 days per week based on practice needs and candidate availability.
- Hours: Patients seen from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; team start time 7:45 am.
- Competitive remuneration based on experience.
