Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist | Halls Head Dental

Looking for a wide-ranging role where no two days are the same?

At Halls Head Dental, we're looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This is a dual role, perfect for someone who enjoys both patient care and front office responsibilities.

You'll split your time between supporting our clinicians chairside and providing a welcoming experience for our patients at reception. If you're flexible, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and love helping people, we'd love to hear from you!

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting our dentists with a variety of clinical procedures

Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments

Maintaining infection control standards

Greeting patients and creating a positive first impression

Answering phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries

Booking and managing appointments

Processing payments and health fund claims

Maintaining accurate patient records

Supporting the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)

Is friendly,



professional and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care

Is organised, adaptable and enjoys a fast-paced environment

Has excellent communication and customer service skills

Works well both independently and as part of a team

Is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the practice
