Alex Perry is offering a paid 5-month part-time design internship, based in Darlinghurst, which is aimed at providing valuable support to our design team for the upcoming Spring/Summer, Pre-Fall and Fall/Winter 2027 collections.

The responsibilities of this internship include: Assisting the Design team with administrative tasks

Sample cutting

Performing various workroom duties such as unpicking, fusing, hand-finishing and steaming

Supporting the purchasing process for local fabric, trims and accessories

Organising and filing of fabric archives

Creating seasonal colour and fabric boards

Quality control of samples

Assisting in the creation of specification packs, including CAD work, technical pages, fitting note history and BOM creation





Maintaining an organised design studio environment, including organising design materials and supplies

Assisting in photoshoot preparation including booking couriers, replenishing shoot kit and purchasing supplies

Receiving and distributing incoming parcels

Provide general support to the Design team as needed We are particularly interested in engaging with applicants who can commit to 2-3 days per week (adaptable as needed), during the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, throughout this 5-month period.
